About the Event
In this Q & A, Kathleen O’Brien, author of Reclaim Your Right to Grow Old, answers questions about her 13 years of research into ancient philosophy, ground-breaking science, and the cultural misconceptions about aging. When it comes to crafting a blueprint for successful aging, society lags behind modern science and far behind our ancestors' philosophies. "Wisdom revealed centuries ago suggests that old age may be the most important stage in the human life cycle. To miss out on it by chasing after your younger self means foregoing some of life's most meaningful moments,” says O’Brien. Some of her advice includes not lying about your age and learning to love your appearance.
