Social isolation and loneliness affect approximately one-third to one-half of the elderly population and have a negative impact on their physical and mental health. While many of us may not fall in that one-third to one-half, we all can certainly benefit from the supportive nature community.

Social isolation and loneliness affect approximately one-third to one-half of the elderly population and have a negative impact on their physical and mental health. While many of us may not fall in that one-third to one-half, we all can certainly benefit from the supportive nature of a community based around living intentionally with a particular focus on our psycho-spiritual health.
Join us and our dear friend and director of the Jung Center?s Mind Body Spirit Institute, Dr. Alejandro Chaoul for a mid-morning meditative experience. After some time to mingle and enjoy some light bites, Dr. Chaoul will lead a guided meditation designed to promote a feeling of peace by connecting with our innate potential for warmth and compassion. After the guided meditation, there will be time to share and discuss our experience in a safe container and explore other tools to better connect with ourselves, our loved ones and the community around us.
This morning event is brought to you by the Community for Conscious Aging (CCA) with special thanks to The Jung Center.
