About the Event

People would often ask Carl Jung, “Will we make it?” His response was, “If enough people do their inner work.” Amidst long-deepening religious and political divisions, our time and culture are further framed by both the Covid-19 pandemic and the continuous unveiling of our nation's centuries-old reputation for systemic racism. It is a time of disaster and distrust for many, in which the question posed to Jung is alive and well in the soul of the world. Come explore the content of the “inner work” that was Jung's answer, content which can lead us all to a more invigorated living of the values of peace, love, joy and hope.

Bill Kerley is a spiritual teacher who has been teaching for over forty years at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. He draws on the perennial wisdom and insights from Buddhist and Jesus teachings, as well as Jungian psychology. Visit him at billkerley.com and ordinarylife.org. This talk is co-sponsored with The Jung Center.
